Happy Spring Everyone! Who is ready for a giveaway!!! Everyone, right? And, who wants a new KitchenAid Mixer??? Do I even need to ask? I have had my KitchenAid Mixer for at least 20 years and it is still kicking! Mine comes with such a sweet story, I don’t think I will ever replace it…but thankfully, I won’t have to because they really do last for generations when taken care of.

When I was single, I hosted a large Bible study at my condo for years. Once I moved, the Bible study also moved, but was still attended by the same people. One day, completely out of the blue, this amazing group of people pitched in a bought my KitchenAid mixer for me…I was so surprised…and I don’t surprise easily. It was truly such a special gift.

And, it is also the star of one of my most popular posts on my blog… my Quick and Easy Homemade Pie Crust. This recipe was adapted from one my family has passed down for generations. Now, I make it in the KitchenAid and it is SO easy and fool-proof! No need to fear homemade pie crust any more. Now that we eat mostly grain free, I need to adapt it again…soon. And, I am sure the new recipe will also use my trusty KitchenAid Mixer!
