Maple Glazed Carrots

These Maple Glazed Carrots are easy enough to make for a mid week meal and fancy enough to serve on a holiday. So, the choice is yours…my choice, make them ALL THE TIME!

Even your most hesitant carrot eater will enjoy these. They are lightly sweetened with maple, cooked in ghee, and seasoned well. The pure maple syrup draws out and compliments the natural sweetness in the carrots…SO good!

A hint…make sure you cook them until crisp tender and not mushy…you will thank me.

Maple Glazed Carrots

Ingredients

Scale

8 Carrots cut into near-equal sticks

3 tablespoon Ghee

3 tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup

¼ teaspoon Pink Salt

1/8 teaspoon Pepper

Instructions

  • Melt Ghee in a medium skillet.
  • Add in Carrots and cook covered on medium-low for 10 minutes or until carrots are desired doneness.
  • Add in pure maple syrup and salt and pepper and toss to combine.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
  • Serve and Enjoy!
