Today, I am thankful that we have completed the pre-adoption paperwork so that we can be one step closer to our littlest being ours officially! Today, after 13 months of life in our home, we are officially his adoptive parents and he is no longer in foster care; he is now “pre-adopted”. We are beyond thrilled and can’t wait to stand before the judge to make it official! We can’t imagine our family without our littlest. He has brought a light-hearted fun to our home as he learns to rollover, and crawl, and then walk and run. His smiles, chatter and laughter fill the air and bring so much joy!
So, today I am thankful that we are one step closer to being his “forever family”. We can’t wait to rescue another child from the “system”…and we cannot wait to love another as our own. God is SO kind to us.
