Wedding Reminiscence – Part 2

The evening of the wedding arrived…we were all dressed and waiting for our guests. I was hidden away in a beautiful room in the house where I could survey the festivities. My groom was wandering the grounds. Here he is in the middle of his two best men. Paul is on the left and his son (soon to be mine too in this photo!) Joseph on the right.

Here I stood surveying the beautiful outcome of the hard work of my dear friends. I was just soaking it all in, knowing that once the wedding began, I would be a bit distracted. 🙂

There was plenty of time before the wedding to take photos that would capture this beautiful day.

My dad and I heading down the isle to meet Robin. This was such a special moment. Thank you Dad for walking me down the isle and giving me away to such a wonderful man!  Also pictured here is Elizabeth who, along with Franchesca, worked hard to make this a stress free day.  I offer them my sincerest thank you for that gift.

This is one of my favorite photos from our wedding. I remember this moment clearly as we locked eyes on one another with smiles that seemed as though they wouldn’t ever end. The time was finally here! I also enjoy how the photo also captured the view of the ocean and our guests.

I love these ladies! A girl could not ask for better friends!

Family time

This was taken as a candid after the wedding. We were so grateful to be married (and still are!)

Here we are listening to Hannah sing Amazing Grace. It was her first time singing in public and she did a beautiful job. She gave us such a special gift by singing at our wedding.

A family was formed. Praise the Lord for His goodness!

God is so good to have placed each of these dear ones in our wedding party. Thank you for investing on our lives and loving us as you do.

And, to our families…we love you so much and are so thankful to call you family. God has been so good to us to allow us to live life with you. Thank you for loving us and sharing in our joy.

We are so grateful to the Stagers for their generosity toward us. We were so blessed to be married at your home and share this amazing day with you and your family. Thank you for showing Christ’s love to us. We love you!

We were ready to head off to our honeymoon and we have Melinda to thank for this photo…she slowed us down and rallied our photographer to make sure we got this shot. Thank you Melinda! This one is special!

Thank you for allowing me to remember the wonderful day that catapulted us into this wonderful life. This was such a rare time to be surrounded by so many who have impacted our lives throughout the years. We are so grateful to all who came to share in this day with us.

Remembering has such a profound effect on ones life. I have noticed a spring in my step these days that had slipped away. I have also noticed a return to gratefulness in my heart that I am ashamed to admit had also began to slip away. I hope each of you who are reading this are also able to take some precious moments to remember the special, life-changing times in your lives and share them with others sometime soon!
