Perfect Roast Chicken Breast

4 Bone-in Chicken Breasts

1 teaspoon Salt

½ teaspoon Pepper

2 tablespoons Ghee, melted

Juice of ½ Lemon (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Line baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Place chicken on the baking sheet.
  • Squeeze Lemon juice over chicken.
  • Brush chicken with melted ghee.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Bake at 425 degrees for 35 – 45 minutes (depending on the size of your chicken breasts), or until chicken reaches 165 degrees and juices run clear.
  • Let chicken rest for 10 minutes.
  • Remove chicken from bone and slice and serve or store to use throughout the week.
  • Reserve the bones in the freezer to add to your next batch of homemade bone broth.
