We hosted a Bible Study group at our home last night. It was cold and rainy out and I had a few extra minutes so I whipped up some hot chocolate. It really hit the spot so I thought I would share it here! I hope you enjoy!
Ingredients:
1/2 gallon, Milk
1 cup Half and Half
1 1/2 teaspoons, Vanilla
1/2 cup, Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1/8 teaspoon, Salt
1/2 bag Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1/2 cup, Sugar
1 tablespoon, Instant Espresso Powder
Instructions:
Place your milk and half and half into a heavy bottomed pan…I used my trusty white dutch oven, again. Turn your burner to medium.
Add in the vanilla, cocoa powder, salt and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Then, once the chocolate is melted in, add your sugar and espresso power and continue to heat slowly until it is combined. Pour into mugs and enjoy! It would be great topped with whipped cream and chocolate curls…I was all out. 🙂
Enjoy your cozy evening! Blessings!
