Easy Everyday Pot Roast

Tender roast beef with sweet carrots and creamy potatoes…sure to satisfy your family on these crisp “almost fall” days.

Ingredients

Scale

3 1/24 lb Chuck Roast

1/3 cup dried minced onion

2 T – 21 salute seasoning blend (TJ’s)

1 cup water

1 pinch red pepper flakes

2 teaspoons salt

2 Bay leaves

4 Carrots, sliced

6 small Potatoes, quartered

4 cups Baby Spinach

2 cups Mushrooms, quartered

Instructions

Place chuck roast in the bottom of the slow cooker.  Top with 21 seasoning salute, red pepper flakes, bay leaves, salt, minced onions, and water.

Cook for 5 hours on high or 7 hours on low.

Add in your sliced carrots, mushrooms, and baby spinach (it will melt right into the sauce!) and quartered potatoes and cook for an additional hour on high or two hours on low.

My Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker will hold on warm when the time is up so it’s ready when we are.  Tonight, it was after a long day of work for my husband, before class for my daughter and after soccer for our littlest and me.  Enjoy your tender roast and delicious veggies!
