This is a very simple recipe for those nights when you just want something fast to go on the side of your meal.
Cook 8 ounces of pasta (I used Orecchiette) for the recommended time and drain the pasta water, saving 1/4 on the side.
Add the pasta back into the hot pan with 1/4 cup of reserved pasta water and 2 tablespoons of butter and lemon pepper to taste.
Add 2 tablespoons of half-n-half and stir.
This time we served “remade beef stew” over these noodles. Β Next time I may add a little cheese and have some quick mac and cheese. π
Blessings!
Sounds simple and delicious. I always have a problem with the oreccchiette shells sticking together even after making sure to stir so that they don’t stick — that’s just me though π
Thank you Danny! I agree about the sticking. I had some trouble with sticking as well. But, when I added the butter and half-n-half, they did separate a bit. You could also use shells. They would hold the sauce well too. π
Thanks Diane, good to know it’s not just me when it comes to that particular type of pasta π
this looks amazing! i’m going to try it with shells!
