Sloppy Tri-tip Sandwiches My husband grilled tri-tip and we had leftovers…instead of tri-tip salad, a request for sandwiches was made…I am so glad the request was made because we enjoyed these. 🙂 Even our little son ate tri-tip. 🙂 Here is what you do:

Begin by melting 2 teaspoons of Coconut Oil.

Tri-tip Sandwiches

Add in 2 ounces of pancetta.

And, onions…let them cook on low until they begin to caramelize (turn light brown and sweet)

Tri-tip Sandwiches

Add in the beef and warm through.

In the meantime…make your sauce. Here is how I made mine…I mixed about 1/2 cup of ketchup with 1/3 cup of mayo and 8 dashes of Worchestershire sauce, 10 dashes of soy sauce, and a teaspoon of sriracha. I am glad I didn’t have any A1 in the house…I like this better. 🙂

Spread the sauce on your rolls. I have to admit that when my husband saw the sauce, he was wishing for simple ketchup. But, when he tasted it, he was happy. 🙂

Tri-tip Sandwiches

Top the sauce with the warm tri-tip and onions.

And, then, top with mixed greens that have been seasoned with salt and pepper. Now, this is a great way to have leftovers :).

Blessings!
