No, that isn’t a new refrigerator…it is FINALLY clean! 🙂
Right about now, I am wishing I had taken an embarrassing before photo. Then, this would look like a bigger “fresh start”. But, let’s just say that three hours later, it now looks like this. Yes, I said three hours. And, while that part of my “day of rest” wasn’t “restful”, it does put my mind at ease and set me up to be far more organized with meal planning and prep this week. It also sets me up to be able to fill in the missing ingredients that were as close to empty as possible, but still in the fridge taking up space. I am SO grateful that this job is now done!
The picture below is not an “official” before photo, but it is the mess that led up to the mess that I just cleaned up. There is no organization, and it is difficult to see what we have. This gives you an idea of the urgency of the matter 🙂
Well, it is that way no more…have I said how grateful that I am? I am SO grateful!
Here it is with the food in it…so organized! Some veggies cut up on the top shelf (more to come), potatoes and onions in the left drawer and citrus and kiwi in the right. Now, I know what is in there and I am ready to go! 🙂 Instead of getting a farm box this week, I am going to go to the Farmer’s Market on Tuesday and just get the essentials since I still have a few items from last week to use up.
Thank you for sharing in the joy of a freshly cleaned fridge. I knew that if anyone would understand the sense of satisfaction, it would be you all. I also knew that you would understand the need to share so thank you for bearing with me. 🙂
Blessings to you!
